Dandara, from Long Hat House, is a metroidvania with a unique take on player movement. You take on the role of the titular Dandara, a woman trying to save the citizens of Salt, a world on the brink of collapse. Dandara is able to leap between any surface, sticking to walls, ceilings, and even rotating platforms as she dashes from one location to the next, offering a different take on environmental traversal and combat as she avoids enemy fire by dashing up to the ceiling and unleashing an attack of her own. Players will also solve environmental puzzles and earn new abilities that allow them to reach previously inaccessible areas.
The game is coming to PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam and Humble Store, Switch via eShop, PS4 via PSN, Xbox One via Microsoft Store, iOS via App Store, and Android via Google Play. Check the trailer below to see more of Dandara's high-flyin' shenanigans:
