Target Acquired: Eagle Island

Eagle Island, from Pixelnicks, is a platformer with an open world consisting of multiple procedurally-arranged dungeons. The game stars Quill, a young ornithologist who is accompanied by his owl as he explores an island that is being terrorized by a giant eagle. Quill uses his owl as a weapon, calling it to him and then casting it off in one of eight directions to strike enemies. Along the way, he opens treasure chests that give him a random assortment of powerups to aid him in his journey to the dungeon boss. By defeating bosses and completing dungeons, Quill unlocks new magical enhancements for his owl, as well as new movement abilities, which are then used in future dungeons and in the overworld to slowly open new routes.
